Platz beim „Ken Ludema Best Paper Award“ für ihr Paper “ Graphite Lubrication Mechanisms Under High Mechanical Load” gewonnen. Der Preis zu Ehren des Gründers der Konferenz zeichnet die besten Veröffentlichungen aus, die in einem Konferenz-Sonderband in der Zeitschrift WEAR erscheinen. Wir gratulieren!

Dr. Christian Greiner was awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC) for his research on materials under tribological stress.
The ERC is thus funding the project TriboKey (Deformation Mechanisms are the Key to Understanding and Tayloring Tribological Behaviour) for five years with approximately two million euros.
Peter Gumbsch will assume the chairmanship of the Scientific Commission of the German Science Council on February 1, 2017.
