Determination of input data

Short Time Austenization Device

  • Conductive or inductive heating with vheat up to 10000 K/s
  • Cooling rates upto vcool = 3000 K/s
  • Measurement of longitudinal and transversal strains
  • Integrated in a servohydraulic testing machine for measurements of the deformation state of metastable phases

Load-Quenching Dilatometer

  • Determination of the transformation plasticity constant
  • Conductive heating of cylindric specimen with 300 Ampère Transformator in nitrogen atmosphere
  • Quenching with cooled stream of nitrogen or helium
  • Measurement of longitudinal and transversal strains using a capacitive gauge
  • Pneumatic application of tensile or compressive loadings in the range of –150 up to +150 MPa at predefined temperatures

Quenching Device

  • 3-zones-furnace (up to 1200 °C)
  • Registration of the temperature during heating and cooling with 20Hz sampling rate at up to 7 different measuring points
